Hereford Construction Company Inc. is a privately owned Oregon corporation formed in 1992 by brothers David and Mark Hereford as a successor to Hereford Construction Company, a company that has operated in the Portland area, with the same principals, since 1979. The business philosophy was simple: Provide quality work at a fair price.
This is a management team without a single customer or subcontractor complaint lodged against it in an industry where such complaints are all too often justified. This speaks highly of the integrity, morals, and ethics of the managing principals.
David and Mark have over 30 years experience each in the construction field. They pride themselves on creating homes that are not only attractive, but more importantly are built with quality and integrity. Their attention to detail and their clients needs has resulted in hundreds of satisfied customers.
With equal experience in all aspects of the home building and remodeling industry, David and Mark can independently and easily recognize and reject inferior work, methods and materials. Their hands on experience has been invaluable in reducing the potential for warranty and callback problems.
1979-1985 Small to medium-scale residential remodeling.
1985-1990 Large-scale residential remodeling and renovation. Started custom home construction.
1990-1995 Continued large-scale residential remodeling and custom home construction. A new custom home featured in OREGON HOME magazine.
1995-2005 Started spec home construction. Many beautiful homes led to multiple offers and successful sales.
2005-present Continuing in all aspects of home remodeling and construction.
